Features include a great room adjoining a lovely sun room on the main level. Kitchen, dining area, family room, one bedroom and screened porch are located on the lower level.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, glassware, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, blender, and mixer. There is a washer/dryer, two color TV’s with cable, VCR, DVD, central air and heat. Outside, you can enjoy the gas grill, picnic table, horseshoe pit, fire pit, deck, floating dock and two covered docks with open area for swimming and sunbathing.

Located in a quiet cove just off the widest part of the main channel across from the lighthouse at Marker C-2.

Marina Info

The property has a two-slip covered dock. There are three marinas located within a 1/2 mile area where you can launch your boat. Pontoon boat and Sea-Doo rentals are available at Lake Haven Marina, Saunders-Parkway Marina and Sportsman Restaurant & Marina.

Hooper Haven FAQs


The premises shall be used as a residence by the undersigned TENANTS with no more than 8 occupants including children and/or adults and for no other purpose. Occupancy by guests staying overnight will be considered a violation of this provision. No pets allowed.


A telephone (540-297-7018) is provided as a courtesy and all long distance calls by TENANTS must be made by credit/calling card or collect. Telephone has a long distance block installed and operator assistance is required when not using a credit/calling card.

House Rules

TENANT agrees to abide by any/all house rules, including rules with respect to noise, odors, smoking, disposal of refuse, no pet policy, parking and use of common areas.

Ordinances and Statutes

TENANT shall comply with all statutes, ordinances and requirements of all Municipal, State, and Federal Authorities now in force, or which may hereafter be in force, pertaining to the use of premises. Tenant agrees for himself and his guests not to use, sell or distribute any substance prohibited by the State of Virginia Drug Control Act. Persons violating any of these provisions will be immediately removed from the premises and rents and deposit forfeited.

Check In Time

Check in time shall be at the resident of the owner, Mitch and Suzanne Hooper, located at 1052 Sylvan Drive, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. or at a prearranged time at rental site (unless other arrangements are made with owner prior to arrival). Check out shall be by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Trash and Garbage

It shall be the responsibility of the TENANT to dispose of all trash and garbage in an appropriate bag and taken to an approved dump station. (Located just before State Park). In the event trash and garbage are left on the premises after departure, (including outside of the rental unit) a deduction will be made to cover the removal of same from the security deposit.

Personal Belongings

OWNER assumes no responsibility for personal belongings of TENANT left on the premises after departure.


The agreement may be cancelled 60 days prior to the beginning rental period with full rental refund. Deposit shall be forfeited with less than 60 days notice of cancellation.
